T O P I C R E V I E WthreepoolsoflightOk, so this seems a little strange, but I did a reading on a relationship from the point of view of a guy's wife who died quite some time ago. The cards suggest that the guy's flaws were evident to her, though he thought very highly of her. The question is, what does the justice card mean (he's getting what he deserves?), and what is the time frame involved here? Is this how she felt at her time of death, or is this how she would feel looking at his life now? The card at the top left represents how you see yourself. Ace of Staves, when reversedThe card at the top right represents how you see your partner. The DevilThe card in the center left represents how you feel about your partner. JusticeThe card in the center right represents what stands between you and your partner. Knight of Cups, when reversedThe card in the lower left represents how your partner sees you. Three of Coins (Works)The card in the lower right represents what your partner feels about you. The EmpressThe card in the center represents the present status or challenge of the relationship. King of Cupselixirvery interesting, at first it seemed like he was abusive towards her or had an addiction she despised. but then with the last cards it seemed she despised him because she thought he was "weak." elixirshe could have been in love with someone else(king of cups) or he did not match her ideal.elixiri think the justice card means she was a very harsh critic. maybe it was just one of those incompatible matches that no matter what he did, it wouldnt have been right for her. he seems too watery for her. elixirif she was sick in bed then the 3 of coins could mean him seeing her everyday, like a routine. this would mean the timeframe would be around the end or during the duration of the illness, if there was one.threepoolsoflightElixir, I think you're right with the 3 of coins interpretation. I hadn't thought of that. She did die of a terminal illness at a young age. I have had the feeling that he cheated on her and she suspected it, which may explain the devil card, the justice card, and also him not living up to the king of cups ideal. (I didn't know either of them back when this was happening, but his behavior is pretty obvious). Also it might be why he couldn't mention her name during a memorial-type activity he was involved in. Ugh. Thanks for your thoughts.TwirlI find the ace reversed intriguing. When the spark of life left... threepoolsoflightOh, you could be right, Twirl (and right now that "Eye in the Sky" song is playing on the radio, which is freaky...) It conjures up the image of a woman on her deathbed completely dissatisfied with her husband, who loved her but had this (probable) addiction to womanizing. It's kind of tragic. And getting back to what elixir said about her being critical in general, interestingly, their birthdays are similar so that they both had the critical Virgo moon. He may have been nearly as self-critical as she was of him, at least on some level...
